Monkey Mart is a game made by TinyDobbins and revolves around fairly simple and linear progression. To sum up the game, you’ll be playing as a cute little monkey that has a constant smile on his face as he attempts to satisfy the community’s buying needs.

Throughout your journey, you’ll be stocking your store with different items that have to be grown, bred, or prepared beforehand. The entire process has to be constantly monitored in order to ensure a steady supply and meet the demand of all your customers.

Features

Progression is Balanced

There’s no insane difficulty curve that you’ll experience while initially playing Monkey Mart. You start the game off with only a banana tree and a cash counter to sell those bananas. All you will need to do is stock them up on the shelf for customers to buy them.

As you continue to serve your customers with the products that you have, you’ll slowly be able to plant more banana trees with the money you get. You will continue to grow in wealth thanks to the products you’re selling, and can eventually introduce new products into the market like eggs and popcorn.

You won’t feel overwhelmed at any point, and instead, the game even allows you to hire workers to automate some of the processes and take the load off of you.

Build Multiple Supermarkets

Once you’ve made enough cash from your first business. You will realize that most of your process will actually just be automated which means that you don’t even have to do anything and the money will keep piling up in your account.

At that point, you can decide if you want to build a second supermarket and start the process all over again. Your income will multiply and you’ll be able to continue the process however long it appeals to you.

More Games

Who doesn’t like simple progression games like Monkey Mart that make you feel so powerful in your own stead? If you’d like to try out games similar to Monkey Mart, then you can go ahead and take a look at Merge Dreams, Shepherd Farm, and even Village Builder that work around a similar concept.

How to Play Monkey Mart

Playing Monkey Mart is very simple. As soon as you start up the game, you’ll be greeted with a mini-tutorial in which you’ll initially pay to build a cash counter and your first banana tree with a shelf to stock your bananas on.

In the start, you’ll have to keep stocking the bananas in accordance with the demand. Always make sure to go back to the counter to process customers’ purchases and collect the cash. If you delay the process, customers will leave dissatisfied which will negatively impact your cash flow.

Once you have earned enough money, you’ll be able to plant more banana trees and even upgrade your ability to carry more items at once. This helps with stocking up the entire supermarket immensely. You don’t want to do this early into the game though.

Later in the game, you’ll be able to grow corn which can be used to feed cows and chicken that give you milk and eggs. You can stock up on milk and eggs which will naturally give you three more items to sell in your supermarket to your customers.

Furthermore, you can even microwave the corn you get to sell popcorn. The opportunities grow as you get into more cash. Once things get overwhelming for you and the items in your supermarket grow, you’ll have to buy more monkeys to help you out in your day-to-day tasks.

All you need to do is continuously keep the ball rolling, collect cash, and upgrade your character as much as you can to be able to keep up with the increasing business stress. At the end, when you’re ready, you can expand your business empire and start another Monkey Mart!

Conclusion

Monkey Mart takes its core concept of world-building and just allows the players to work in its own template. There’s not much when it comes to decorating the store as everything’s built in a fixed place decided by the developers, but hopefully that is something that might be changed in the future and we look forward to it!
